Clive Staples Lewis wrote many books for adults along the theme of Christianity before finding fame with his series of children’s books entitled the Chronicles of Narnia. Reading was always important growing up and in fact C.S. Lewis could read by the age of 3 and was writing stories by the age of 5! It was in 1950 when The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was published and a further six stories followed. This popular series is still ever as popular today and has even been turned into a film.
